The LDS church bought this house in Tiberius and remodeled it to make a branch building for the Saints in the Galilee area.
The back windows and patio have a spectacular view of the Sea of Galilee. Shortly after this picture it began to rain and the clouds rolled in. By time Sacrament started you couldn't see more than a few feet in front of you. During the service a sister was giving a talk and mentioned Peter and at that same moment a giant boom of thunder shook the building. We all stayed awake during that meeting!
On the way home we stopped at Yardinet, a christian baptismal site. It was beautiful but pretty commercialized.
Wow, that would be neat to meet for church in that setting! and what a beautiful family you have!! Miss you all...
