The Mediterranean Sea

Abby had lots of fun in the sand.  She buried her Pa, built an awesome fortress and became buried herself.  She just needed her Lily and Emma to play with.

It was cloudy and rainy on our way to the beach, but once we arrived it was perfect.  Sunny with a few fluffy clouds. Not to hot.  The water was warm and wonderful.  The beach had lots of shells, the kids collected a bunch.  Seth spent his time going back and forth from the water to a rock wall that had lizards in it.  He tried all day but failed to capture one of these swift little creatures. The kids want to go back every week!  They absolutely loved it!

To the left of the beach was a rocky point jutting into the ocean.  To the right was Tel Aviv.  A large boat came in fairly close to shore.  A couple of cobra helicopters flew over and some fighter jets.  I could never see the jets, just hear them.

Here is a little video clip of catching the big one.  I did these movies soon after we arrived.  By the end of the day everyone had picked up on the body surfing and could ride them in.  At the end of the first video you can see Abby is upset and looking for her goggles.  We lost two pairs of sun glasses along with the goggles.
